Refund & Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy Type: No Return, Replacements Only

As the merchant (SK CHAI) deals in perishable consumer goods (Premium Instant Tea Premixes/Packaged Food), we strictly adhere to a "No Return, No Refund, No Exchange" policy once a product has been successfully delivered in good condition.

However, customer satisfaction is paramount. Replacements are offered strictly under the following conditions:

• The customer receives an entirely different product instead of the originally ordered product.
• There is a verified manufacturing defect.
• The product packaging is severely damaged, tampered with, or leaking upon arrival.
• The product delivered has exceeded its date of expiry.

Applicable Policy Turnaround Time (TAT)

The policy remains active for a strictly defined window. Customers must raise a replacement request for damaged, defective, or incorrect Packaged Food within 3 days of the delivery date. Requests raised after this 3-day TAT will not be entertained.

To process a replacement, customers are strictly required to email clear photographic evidence of the damaged/incorrect product along with the original shipping label to sales@skchai.co.in. Upon verification, the replacement product will be dispatched and delivered within 5 to 7 business days.

Cancellation Policy & Timeframes

We understand that you may need to change your mind. The time till when the merchant is going to accept cancellations is defined below:

• Customers can cancel their order within 12 hours of placing the order OR strictly before the order is dispatched from our facility, whichever is earlier.
• Once an order has been handed over to our logistics partners and an AWB (tracking number) is generated, it cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.
• Channels for Cancellation: Order cancellations cannot be done directly via the website interface. To request a cancellation, you must explicitly contact us through the following approved channels:

• Cancellations initiated by the company may occur due to the unavailability of stock, lack of courier service for the specified location, or unforeseen operational/fraud-prevention issues.

Mode of Refund

If an order cancellation is successfully requested and verified before dispatch, or if the merchant cancels the order due to operational constraints, a full refund will be initiated immediately.

The approved refund amount will be credited back strictly to the original method of payment (e.g., Bank Account, UPI, Credit/Debit Card) used during the transaction via our payment gateway partner (e.g., Paytm). Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the refund to reflect in your bank account or card statement. Note: No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstances.

Shipping Policy

Delivery Speed: We offer fast and reliable delivery, aiming to get your order to you within 3 business days.

Delivery Slots:

• You can choose a convenient delivery slot during checkout.
• We deliver Monday through Sunday, between 7:30 AM and 9:30 PM.

Important: If you are unavailable during your chosen slot, your order will be considered cancelled. We recommend being present at the delivery address during the chosen timeframe.

Shipping Costs:

• Below 500g: ₹80
• 500g – 1kg: ₹100
• 1kg – 2kg: ₹200
• Over 2kg: Free shipping (you only pay the product cost)

Cash on Delivery (COD):

COD is available for orders between ₹500 and ₹3999.

• Orders below ₹500: ₹50 COD charge applies.
• Orders between ₹500 and ₹3999: You only pay the cash amount to the courier upon delivery.

Force Majeure

SK CHAI shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure is caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, pandemics, courier strikes, or governmental restrictions in Karnataka or across India.
